Responsible Gaming Policy
Responsible gaming is an important part of our policy for serving Indian players. At 1win India, we pay close attention to problems that may arise as a result of gambling addiction. We believe it is our direct duty to protect players from excessive gambling behavior and to prevent minors from participating in gambling.
We want our service to be as comfortable and functional as possible and to fit perfectly as a form of entertaining leisure. Unfortunately, gambling, despite being a spectacular hobby, can become a problem for some players. We fully support internationally accepted responsible gaming principles and do everything possible to help our Clients enjoy safe and exciting gaming without losing control.
Keeping control
Gambling in a bookmaker’s office is entertainment, a way to spend leisure time, enjoy your favorite team’s match, and meet like-minded people among other betting participants. While enjoying matches and placing bets, it is important to remain cautious and remember:
- Gambling is leisure, not a way to earn money, and you must never lose common sense;
- If you lose, do not try to win back immediately, because there is always a chance to win next time;
- Start the game only if you will spend only the readily available amount and no more;
- Always pay attention to the time and amount of money you spend on the game.
Prevention of gaming addiction
For most people, gambling remains an entertaining form of leisure. However, a small group of players experience gaming addiction. Research shows that only a minor part of adults face this problem, but we still treat it with serious attention and encourage all betting participants to remember:
- Gambling is based on the law of probability, so there are no “formulas” or “systems” that guarantee winning;
- The wish to play must come exclusively from you;
- Gambling is entertainment, not a way to get rich quickly or to pay debts;
- Always monitor how much money you spend on gambling;
- Always know the rules of the game when you play.
It can be difficult to distinguish healthy enthusiasm from harmful addiction, but there are warning signs that may indicate a problem.
